VTAPE Flanger Issue in FL Studio 9 (Read 509 times)

VTAPE Flanger Issue in FL Studio 9

I was running VTAPE Flanger in my FL Studio 9, trying to "AUTOMATE" the "POSITION" parameter in the current project.
I draw the hole Automation Clip and Played the song, when I realised that the Position Ball ignored the Automation Clip Sad

What can I do? Is this a bug from VTAPE? Is there any solution?
Please Help me.... I was searching a FLANGER effect that could be Manually "Flanged" (Like this one) and this happened... I was bored of the tipical "LFO Flangin VST's" Cause I couldn't control them

IF SOMEONE KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS OR ANOTHER "MANUAL FLANGER VST" PLEASE TELL ME...

tomaschavez00 Ex Member	Re: VTAPE Flanger Issue in FL Studio 9 Reply #1 - 01/28/10 at 23:39:21 I realised that there's actually a "MANUAL FLANGER VST" included in FL 9 It's inside the old "Buzz effect Adapter".... its the "Rymix FlaserBox", it has a parameter called Manual LFO* That's for now, but if someone knows about other Flanger VST that has that skill too... please tellme

a) I missed your point or
b) I'm looking at the wrong thing. Wink

I just tried a VERY quick run through with the VTape Flanger (just to refresh my memory) and, unless I'm mistaken, the Position is determined by the 'Speed Diff' knob. In my quick test, altering the 'Speed Diff' caused the Position indicator to react and this WAS picked up by host automation AND was played back correctly. I'm using Cubase btw. I wonder if that could be a difference.

About the SPEED DIFF paramater...its totally OK with the automation... but I dont like it because its controlling the position parameter in an odd way

the other thing.... I downloaded the Vflanger from a demo site... I dont remember very well.... that could be the reason why I dont have a user number....

But it dont matter... I will stay with the BUZZ Flanger instead... I couldnt fix this but THANKS ANYWAY, U ANSWERED VERY QUICKLY
